Deadline is reporting that funny lady Kym Whitley has booked guest-starring roles in two NBC pilots-- prison drama Bad Girls and vet hospital comedy Animal Kingdom.

S&A previously announced the casting of Jurnee Smollett and Tracee Ellis Ross in the prison-based drama Bad Girls, which focuses on female inmates from varying backgrounds who are serving time for an assortment of charges.  No word yet on what role Whitley will play in the series.

Deadline also revealed that Whitley has a series-regular option on Animal Kingdom if the pilot gets picked up.
