Lance Gross has joined Halston Sage in NBC’s yet-to-be-titled drama pilot from writer/executive producer Rand Ravich, which is described as an emotionally-charged political action thriller set in Washington DC, and will follow Marcus Finley (played by Gross), who's an idealistic Secret Service agent who finds himself at the center of an international crisis on his first day on the job as the President’s son’s protection, when the son, along with several of his schoolmates, are kidnapped.
Up next for Gross is Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor at the end of next month.

NBC aka The No. Body. Cares network strikes again. My eyelids felt heavy as I was making my way through the logline. I had to re-read it because I spaced out. The concept is stale. NBC should just settle on airing infomercials around the clock as they brainstorm for next year. Just sit this season out already. It's truly embarrassing at this point.

For the haters who think he can't act, rent "The Last Fall."

Umeruh...don't they know he can't act? Having a hard time seeing this go anywhere. Like, he's not even mediocre, just bad. Sure is pretty, though.

Good for him, even though NBC is where talent goes to die lately. He better up his social media game, "Scandal"-style, because that network is terrible at promoting new shows that aren't high-concept.
And they better get his lighting right...I've seen a couple of non-Tyler movies where...let me stop.

Congrats! Lead role on NBC? Chile, talk about MAJOR come up for Lance. Also, the exit of Zucker from NBC seems to have been an immediate blessing for people of color at NBC and an immediate curse for people of color at CNN.
