Here's Lockout's synopsis, in a nutshell:
A man (Pearce) wrongly convicted of conspiracy to commit espionage against the U.S. is offered his freedom if he can rescue the president's daughter from an outer space prison taken over by violent inmates.
If I'm not mistaken, James and Besson last worked together on another film that Besson co-wrote-- 2011's Zoe Saldana-starring Colombiana.
S&A just announced this week that Ido will soon be shooting In The Morning, a film by Nefertite Nguvu.
From the bits of him I was able to see in the trailer, it seems that James will be playing some sort of law enforcement figure named Harry Shaw. I want to believe that Ido, who plays a character named Hock, won't just be playing a prisoner . . . but hey, he's working!
Lockout was originally tagged with an April 20 release date. That has now been changed to April 13.
The trailer, while not earth-shattering, is decent enough. If you're a fan of sci-fi, like myself, then it just might pique your interest.
Check it out for yourself and decide if you're going to give your local cinema $11 to see it:

Honestly he is Jacky Ido favorite up and coming black actor, we know what happens to him in the film. But I'm just really happy that he is moving up in Europacorp projects (action movies and nonaction movies alike) while working with great directors like Lelouch and Tarantino and Hasaki Ya Suda looks amazing.
