Single Mom's Club centers on a group of single mothers from varying backgrounds (Long, McLendon-Covery, Henao), who are brought together via an incident at the school their children attend, leading to the creation of a support group that helps all of them overcome personal obstacles.

Tyler Perry wrote, directed, and is producer of the film, which, as of today, will be his only branded release in 2014, and which, by the way, will become a TV series on OWN as well.

Ahead of its March release, the film's first poster, which is more of a tease. Underneath it, you'll find the film's trailer.

Apparently Tyler still thinks he can act and direct...

Tyler Perry would make more money if he stopped putting his name on all his films, and he needs to stop playing the lead male. The truth is, his name has a negative connotation, people see Tyler Perry and think 'low quality, preachy, stereotypical.' I don't care if he adds white people to his films, as long as the lead is always black.

I completly agree with this. I know several people that will not watch a film simply because Perry's name is stamped on it. Myself included.
