Lisa Vidal Joins Gabrielle Union In BET’s "Being Mary Jane"

Given your responses to our last post on the series' title change, many didn't care for the new name (you didn't care for the old title either, but you definitely didn't like the new one; you guys are a tough crowd).

Now titled Being Mary Jane (previously titled Single Black Female), the upcoming new hour-long scripted drama series from Mara Brock and Salim Akil, which stars Gabrielle Union (as Mary Jane) has added another actress to its cast - Lisa Vidal (The Event).

Ms Vidal has joined the cast that also includes Aaron D. Spears (The Bold & The Beautiful) and Richard Roundtree.

She will play Kara, the lead producer for Mary Jane’s show and Mary Jane’s friend.
