A film I've talked about a lot here on Shadow And Act, so I won't bother with a rehash. Search the site for past posts on the crime drama which opens in New York and Los Angeles this weekend, a rarity, given the film's origins.

So, if you live in either of those cities, check it out for yourselves. You may like it, you may not. But at least you would have seen it, allowing you to talk about it armed with vital info.

The film's thumping complementary soundtrack, comprised of mostly local artists, across generations, was released yesterday, and is available for digital download on Amazon.com.
