Fans of the show and the actress may be glad to know that Loretta Devine will join USA Network's comedy series Psych in its eight season.

Devine will appear in the fifth episode, playing "Foxy" Melba Birdson, a former back-up singer for 1960s sensation Myles Valour Jr., who is still performing after all these years. "Foxy" is tracked down by detective Lassie (Timothy Omundson) to help solve a cold case from 1967.

In that episode, Devine will be joined by other guest star Peggy Lipton, who plays Scarlett Jones, the love interest of notorious mob boss "Rodney Caruso."

Devine has had a successful run for two seasons playing a massage parlor owner for Lifetime's The Client List, which premiered its season 2 finale on June 16.

Yay! Maybe the producers will let her stick around and mentor Gus' doo wop group.
