  I'm with Boomslang. My first though was "is she old enough to play his mother"? I love her, though. She is super underrated and has a great acting range.

  I too think she could have been either the wife or the older sister. This casting doesn't make sense. Loretta looks a whole decade younger than she is .She's played mummy to Rubben studdard . In that Masseuse girls show she play the protective Mummy Madam , and on Eli Gold she played the Mummy secretary who knocks some "sense" into those white characters. Dreadful !

  Not quite. Loretta Devine is about 15 years older than Cedric the Entertainer. She still looks good and if the producers had wanted to, Loretta could have played his wife. (Although I love Niecy Nash in the role!)
