Meagan Good has joined the cast of
Paramount’s Anchorman sequel, titled
Anchorman: The Legend Continues.
The
Deception star joins an ensemble case that includes returning cast members
Will Ferrell,
Steve Carell,
Paul Rudd,
Christina Applegate,
David Koechner, and new additions
Kristen Wiig and
James Marsden.
Deadline states that Good will play Ron Burgundy’s boss in the sequel, which is set to open on
December 20, directed by
Adam McKay, from his screenplay.
Might Good's character buy two tickets to Burgundy's "gun show," or will she resist his so-called charms?
A reference from the movie, for those who've seen it.

Wow. Meagan's making BIG moves. Wondering how many years will have elapsed in the narrative, since the last movie featured the guys comically having problems with the concept of a woman anchor. Now a woman's in charge? Interesting.

I hope she can be funny. She was in that piece of crap "The Cookout" years back when she tried so hard to be funny and she FAILED. I wish her luck.

She's been in a comedy before... The Love Guru and was on a sitcom on Nick when she was younger (Cousin Skeeter). I just wish she'd get more roles like the one is Eve's Bayou. She creeped me out in that one, loved it!

I agree with Curtis. This is a major sequel. This is a good look in a comedic role for Meagan. She seems to be a sweet, genuine person.

Good for her! This is a good look and should expose her to an even wider audience.

I'm sorry, but those eyebrows. I just can't take her seriously with those Groucho Marx eyebrows
