A couple of years after the network canceled Deception, the star of that short-lived drama series, Meagan Good, is returning to NBC to star in a new sci-fi drama pilot titled Babylon Fields

In the drama, set in a place called Babylon, NY, the dead are coming back to life, as their bodies regenerate, and they grow stronger than the living, leading to the scary suggestions that they just might be the next step in human evolution.

Good has signed up to play a Dr Janine Beltran, local to Babylon, NY, who has "an edge to he," says the press release.

Gerald Cuesta and Michael Atkinson will write and executive produce with Dexter's Michael Cuesta directing.

Good will be seen on the big screen in Think Like A Man 2, out later this year. On the small screen she was most recently seen in Harry's Law and Californication.

Let's hope that NBC has something stronger in store for her this time around.

The eyebrows are the reason why I support KeKe Williams for a future Whitney Houston biopic rather than Meagan Goode.

They must be tattooed b/c I can't imagine why someone would draw them like that every day.

I'd love to celebrate a Black actress getting another shot on a major network. I'd love to celebrate a Black actress starring in a sci-fi show. I'd love to celebrate this, but I can't. Because Meagan Good is not an actress. She's just a pretty girl with strange brows who gets in front of a camera and irks my nerves, drains my soul with her abysmal, one note performances, consistently. Whoever she has in her pocket at NBC...

THOSE EYEBROWS!!! I CAN"T TAKE THEM!! SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE HER STOP!

**Awaken from his slumber, Sergio identifies CareyCarey's soft lob over the net. Without hesitation he fires back from the baseline "THOSE EYEBROWS!!! PLEASE MAKE THEM GO AWAY" **

Point-Set-Match for the doubles team CareyCarey & Sergio, aka team Old & Oldest.

This has the potential to be really bad.

Psssst.... be quiet y'all. We don't wanna wake up Sergio. I mean, personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with Meagan eyebrows.

    **:) CareyCarey baits the hook**...

DECEPTION was cancelled by NBC less than 1 year ago, Tambay.

+1. I was just about to post the same thing. It's not that big of a deal, just a small mistake.

    Good Meagan, keep trying.
