@sweetre15 I'm coming back to do the Mortal Kombat movie but not the web series.

A tweet from Michael Jai White, responding to a fan's question on Twitter, asking whether he would be returning for season 2 of the web series based on the popular video game, which was officially ordered earlier this year.

So we can obviously delete White from the second season of the web series, BUT, as he states he'll be the movie.

What movie, you ask?

Last fall, New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. announced that they'd tapped Kevin Tancharoen to direct a new big-screen, live-action adaptation of Mortal Kombat. This came after the success of the live-action web series Tancharoen created, which co-starred Michael Jai White as Jax for a few episodes, and which we featured on this site in its entirety.

No word on where exactly the movie reboot stands, although IMDB lists its release year as 2013. Official casting hasn't been announced, but I suppose we could count Michael Jai White as one of them.
