TV viewers in the U.K. will once again get the chance to see actors Michelle Asante and Zawe Ashton in their respective supporting roles on the second series broadcasts of ITV's Monroe and BBC's Case Histories for the upcoming television season.

L-R: Asante, Luke Allen-Gale, Nesbitt

Asante reprises her role on medical drama Monroe as medical assistant Kitty Kelly, alongside lead actor James Nesbitt.  It's been described by some as the British version of U.S. series House, MD, but fans of Monroe would likely beg to differ.

Adapted from Kate Atkinson’s novels, Case Histories is a Ruby Film and Television production for BBC One through BBC Scotland.  Ashton's humorous turn as secretary Deborah, to lead actor Jason Issacs' Jackson Brodie, should not be missed, as she brings comic relief to an otherwise morose drama.

The first series of Case Histories also aired in the U.S. on PBS.

S&A will provide more information on the air dates for both shows, when we receive it.
