Mike Tyson will make his TV acting debut - as in, not playing himself, or not playing a scripted fictional character that isn't in any way influenced by his real-life persona - in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU, playing what Deadline says will be a rather dark, dramatic character named Reggie Rhodes.

A violent murderer on death row, whose rough childhood might be to blame for his adult life of crime, Rhodes' case attracts the attention of Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and defense attorney Bayard Ellis (Andre Braugher) during an SVU investigation.

No word yet on when exactly this episode will air.

This should be very interesting seeing Mike doing his thing outside of his actual self. I have high hopes for this episode that features him in this role. Can`t wait.
