Well... it took over 2 years, but it looks like comedienne/actress/host Mo'Nique has found a project she's ready to tackle as her next feature film (the long-in-gestation Hattie McDaniel biopic she's attached to aside).

Mo'Nique is reportedly "in talks" to co-star in an indie dramedy titled Bumped, which "follows five strangers whose personal lives are both revealed and changed during a long layover at Chicago's O'Hare Airport, says Variety

The project's starring cast already includes Kellan Lutz from the Twilight series, and Camilla Belle (10,000 BC).

Stephen Herek (Mr. Holland's Opus) is directing.

No specifics on what role exactly Mo'Nique plays, although I assume she'll be one of the 5 strangers whose life is changed during the airport layover. As long as it's nothing like the last time she played a character in an airport... Remember this?

I am not sure if MoNique should take this role. I am very surprised that MoNique has not gotten better offers since she won the Oscar for Precious. I know MoNique has her own tv show on BET but she can definitely act! I think it is really sad that this is the best opportunity she has gotten since winning the Oscar.

Kellan Lutz and Camilla Belle? Doesn't seem like it'll be a strong cast. So we'll see if the movie is any good. I wonder if it'll be as successful as that Forest Whitaker/Dakota Fanning/Jennifer Hudson movie that had that same sort of theme....
