Yesterday, Tambay posted the absolutely gorgeous looking trailer for Andrew Dosunmu’s new film Mother of George, which is being released by Oscilloscope Laboratories starting next month.

And now today comes word from the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago that the film will play for an extended run starting on Sept 27th.

The film stars Danai Gurira, who you all know as Michonne from The Walking Dead (an established playwright as well, with works such as the powerful The Convert which was performed two years ago at Chicago’s The Goodman Theater) and Isaach De Bankolé, and deals with a Nigerian couple in Brooklyn struggling to save their rocky marriage and family.
