As I promised a reader earlier this week, below is the link to my interview with actor John Boyega, and writer/director Joe Cornish for Ebony.com. Because of space restrictions I wasn't able to print all they had to say, but take it from me, they're both terrific and down to earth guys with lots of interesting things to say.

And I still stand my rave of Attack The Block as my favorite film of the summer (...wait one of two. I really really liked Terrance Malick's Tree of Life as well) and one of the best film of the year. It's a wonderfully old fashioned 70's B horror film clearly and proudly inspired by the films of the period by John Carpenter (especially Assault On Precinct 13) Tobe Hooper, Wes Craven, Joe Dante and Walter Hill. You can read the interview HERE

And you can go HERE to watch a video interview with Cornish on Anne Thompson's Thomspon on Hollywood blog on indieWIRE.com.
