Naomi Campbell

Well if this doesn't beat all. Naomi Campbell may be too nice for her own reailty show?

According to media reports the producers of her upcoming new reality series The Face for the Oxygen Network are not happy with her behavior on the show.

She's too nice.

Evidently Ms. Campbell has been so far, during the shooting of the show, a total professional and a real pleasure to work with .  Which is not what the producers wanted. They wanted the old Naomi.

One person involved with the show said that the "producers were excepting her to be a tantrum throwing superbitch who causes problems backstage and makes people cry."

Has it come to this? A black woman acting like a rational and intelligent person on a TV show is considered a problem and unacceptable?

Racism is NOT the first thing that comes to mind in this case. Naomi did this to herself. If she has truly changed, it's going to take a while for the public to come to accept the NEW Naomi 2.0. We have no frame of reference for NICE Naomi. It's going to take more than a random reality show to reverse the public image of her as a violent phone-throwing-Medusa. Nevertheless, it's never too late to change and I applaud her effort (if it is sincere and not a ploy).

Reality tv begs for drama and lots of it. Either a bizzare basketball wives drama or well staged kardashian performance they need drama to keep the camera rolling. Miss goodie too little won't work unless you are probably beyonce. Naomi should know this herself but I think she choose frustrate the oportunist. Lol. Good grief

No one should be surprised. This is the universe that the Basketball Wives/Love & Hip Hop/Real Housewives of Atlanta axis of blackface stereotype theater has created. It's also the universe that a lot of black people have been supporting.

Naomi is too intelligent to show that side of herself notice how NOONE has ever ACTUALLY seen that side? all we have heard is from the media ive never seen her throw strops in public or even in the media shes always sweet and feminine. She's been in this business for almost 30 years- she's is a professional and also british and has worked with white people her entire life she knows them INSIDE OUT! So no i love new york buffoonary for her!

Nothing to do with race, they would expect the same from Janice Dickerson. If the producers weren't lazy they would play up the new & improved Naomi angle and see how that works. She has joked about her temper herself.

DING DING DING! Come on Sergio, that's an absurb question you ask!!! Naomi had a reputation. That reputation creates expectations. Nothing to do with "black woman". Le sigh.
