Nate Parker Joins Cast Of Indie Drama 'Ain’t Them Bodies Saints'

Nate Parker has signed up to join the cast for the indie drama Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, which already stars Casey Affleck, Rooney Mara, and Ben Foster.

To be directed by David Lowery, from his own Sundance Screenwriters Lab screenplay, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints tells the story of an outlaw who, in the 1970s, escapes from prison and sets out across the Texas countryside to reunite with his wife, and the daughter he never met. Along the way, however, his past starts to catch up with him.

IMDB describes is as a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde story.

No word on what role Parker will play in this.

Up next for him is Spike Lee's Red Hook Summer, which will be out next month.
