NBC has picked up the renamed drama pilot Infamous, which stars Meagan Good and Laz Alonso. The Universal TV and BermanBraun's series, described as an "opulent soap," will star Good detective Joanna Locasto, who goes undercover as the housekeeper's daughter into the family she grew up in to investigate the murder of her childhood friend - celebutante Vivian Lawson.
Laz Alonso is slated to play NYPD detective Will Sacovitch, who recruits Good's character Johanna, his former flame, to team up in infiltrating the Lawson home and find the evidence of Vivian's murder.
The pilot was penned by Liz Heldens, and is directed by Peter Horton.
According to Deadline, Infamous was apparently a late bloomer; the drama was the last one to be picked up; although it built momentum since the time it was delivered.

This show was green lite to compete with Kerry Washington's show.
Lets hope it's a LONG fight.

I love me some Ms. Good but there is something going on with her face that is starting to look Lil Kim-ish.
