It's raked in over $600 million in worldwide box office since its April release. Nice chunk of change! You can guarantee that another one will be made.
If you didn't see Fast Five in theaters, planning to see it on home video instead, now you can, because Universal has released summer's first big hit (starring Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson and Paul Walker) on DVD, blu-ray, and VOD.
Also out on DVD & blu-ray today Richard Ayoade's feature film debut, Submarine, which debuted at the Toronto Film Festival last fall, where it was picked up by The Weinstein Company. The film, based on the novel of the same name by Joe Dunthorne, was very-well received by press and non-press after it was released stateside on June 3rd.
And lastly, the Samuel L. Jackson-narrated documentary, African Cats, from Disneynature - a nature documentary centered on two cat families and how they teach their cubs the "ways of the wild."
That's also available on DVD and blu-ray.
By the way, Quentin Tarantino's Jackie Brown, which starred Pam Grier, is also available on blu-ray today.
