Nicole Ari Parker, Roger Cross Book Roles In 'Revolution' & 'The Strain' Respectively

Some quick TV casting news...

First, Nicole Ari Parker has booked a recurring role in season 2 of NBC’s drama series Revolution, playing Secretary Justine Allenford, described as a strong and smart leader. 

Up next for Parker, Forest Whitaker‘s thriller Repentances (previously titled Vipaka) - the psychological thriller starring Whitaker, Anthony MackieSanaa Lathan and Mike Epps.

Second, Roger Cross has also landed a recurring role, but in the FX pilot from Guillermo del Toro, titled The Strain, based on his vampire graphic novel (co-written with Chuck Hogan).

The Strain tells the story of the Center for Disease Control's Canary Team who are called upon to investigate a mysterious viral outbreak with hallmarks of an ancient and evil strain of vampirism. 

Cross has signed up to play a Mr. Fitzwilliams, Head of Security. He joins the already-cast Jonathan Hyde and Corey Stoll.

Cross can currently be seen on CW’s Arrow, Syfy’s Continuum and ABC’s Motive.
