Omari

You can also now add Omari Hardwick to the cast of in BET’s hour-long pilot drama from Mara Brock and Salim AkilBeing Mary Jane (previously called Single Black Female) starring Gabrielle Union.

As already noted, the new series will center on successful talk show host Mary Jane Paul (played by Gabrielle Union) her professional and private family life, while searching for Mr. Right.

Enter Omari Hardwick who'll play a potential Mr Right.

Hardwick joins Latarsha RoseLisa Vidal, Aaron D. Spears and Richard Roundtree who round out the cast.

By the way, casting for Being Mary Jane is being handled by casting director Twinkie Byrd (SparkleWoman Thou Art Loosed: On The 7th Day, others) whom I interviewed last week; I'll be posting my piece on that conversation later today.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Omar Hardwick at the Black Expo, Jacksonville,Fl. He was very down to earth and had a amazing spirit. Seeing brother was refreshing, cause his light was bright. May God continue to Blessing this amazing talent.
