These turned up online over the weekend... if you hate spoilers, and/or would rather watch it all unfold on the big screen and on the big screen only, you may not want to look.

For the rest of you, especially those intimately familiar with the comics, riddle me this... I though Bane was supposed to be much more massive than what we see here - at least, certainly larger than Batman. Yes or no?

..Scarecrow wasn't 'reimagined in a more realistic way'. Not really.

Bane is supposed to be a mountain of muscle, like a 'roided-out wrestler, but I don't think that's the direction Nolan's going in. If they were going to digitally alter Tom Hardy into Hulk-size, he wouldn't be in full costume, he'd be in a special effects jump suit and Bale would be looking higher in the middle of the fight. Nolan has re-imagined every character in a more realistic way, and it looks like he's done that with Bane.

From what I've heard, and from the way Bane looks in the teaser trailer, they're using effects/makeup(?) to make him look bigger. So once this is finalized, he'll have those massive shoulders like we see in the teaser trailer.
    That's the impression I'm getting/read somewhere
