Join Academy Award-winning screenwriter Geoffrey Fletcher and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' "Discover the Academy" program next Friday, April 13th, at Columbia University, where Mr Fletcher will be speaking to Columbia students about his journey adapting Sapphire's novel Push from book to the screen.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' university outreach gives students a chance to 'meet the academy' outside of the annual awards show.

Up next for Fletcher is his crime drama Violet & Dasiy which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival last September.
