On the heels of Sergio's post over the weekend that A Man's Story, the Ozwald Boateng documentary, will finally open in UK theaters on March 9th...
It was announced earlier today, via the film's Facebook page, that it will be released on DVD/Blu-ray in the UK just 10 days later, on March 19th, rather soon after its theatrical debut.
No word on what, if any, extra features the disk might include; also, still no announcement of a USA release. I don't believe it even has an American distributor yet.
Although the team behind the film says that they expect a stateside opening in New York City sometime during the first quarter of this year - so anytime between now and the end of March. Let's hope so... I haven't seen it yet, but Sergio has, and he gave it a thumbs up!
The marketing team also promises that a *proper* release trailer is coming as well.
But if you still haven't seen the trailer that debuted about a year ago, watch it below:

Hi Tambay,
I can confirm that the UK DVD has a 34 minute extra documentary on it about Ozwald's record breaking show at the Odeon Leicester Square. The new trailer can be seen at www.amansstory.com
Thanks for your support!

I love Ozwald Boateng but this film did not do him justice. The cut that I saw at Abu Dhabi last year was horrific. Maybe it's gotten better since but I don't know how you can fix what I saw.
Don't get me wrong: amazing man but a terrible film.
