I don't think we've ever really covered the Philadelphia Film Festival, so this might be our first mention; maybe because, this year, they'll be showing a number of films we've highlighted on Shadow And Act; which means, if you live in the Philly area, you'll get your chance to see them all, before much of the rest of the country does.

These titles should sound familiar I hope: Shame, The Destiny Of Lesser Animals (pic above), Le Havre, Benda Bilili, and Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey.

The 15-day festival, which will run from October 20 to November 3, will feature more than 120 new films from around the world.

For our readers in Philadelphia, or who plan on being in the city anytime during that period, and who are interested in attending the festival and seeing any of the above films, and others, click HERE to head to the festival's website for the rest of the story.
