We debuted the trailer last week; now we've got a look at the first official poster for the new drama/thriller titled The Ledge (not to be confused with the upcoming heist thriller with Sam Worthington and Anthony Mackie titled Man On A Ledge) which stars Terrence Howard, Charlie Hunnam, Liv Tyler, and Patrick Wilson.

Synopsis reads: "Gavin, a young college professor, has stepped out onto the ledge of a high-rise building, determined to jump. However, a detective, who has recently suffered his own tragedy, is sent to talk Gavin down. And as the detective and the professor discuss the circumstances that have brought them to the brink of suicide, they'll need to convince each other that life is worth living."

Terrence Howard plays the detective sent to talk Gavin off the ledge.

Directed by Matthew Chapman, and to be released by IFC Films, the film will be released online, in a sneak preview, on May 11th (tomorrow), VOD on May 25th, and a limited theatrical release on June 29th.

First check out the full poster below, and then watch the trailer underneath, if you missed it the first time:

While I get the point, that is such a muddled trailer.
It doesn't come anywhere close to the synopsis.
I'll probably watch this when it hits USA or Lifetime.

Additionally, I'm gonna need folks to stop thinking they are Saul Bass with these poster designs.
