Preview Upcoming Nigerian Dramatic Series 'Gidi Up' (4 Friends, Their Dreams & Nightmares)

I don't believe we've ever featured a Nigerian web-series, so here's one I was recently alerted to that looks like it's well put together, and figured I'd draw your attention to it.

Teaser for an upcoming new Lagos-set web-series titled Gidi Up, described as "a thrilling adventure centered around the lives of four friends in pursuit of happiness, success and independence. However, a few wrong choices quickly turn their Lagos dreams into a Gidi nightmare."

By the way, "Gidi" is a slang term for Lagos. I believe "Las Gidi" is the full term.

The 8-part web-series stars Deyemi Okanlawon, Oreka Godis, Somkele Iyamah and Karibi Fubura, and is written and directed by Jadesola Osiberu.

It'll premiere on February 20th via ndaniTV - an online TV platform showcasing African art, business, sports and more.
