Directed by Anthony Hemingway, from a script by John Ridley and Aaron McGruder, and produced by George Lucas, starring Cuba Gooding Jr, Terrence Howard, David Oyelowo, and several others, Red Tails opens January 20, 2012.
And per the new ratings released by the MPAA this week, the flick gets a PG13 (no surprise there).
3rd trailer follows immediately below; new poster (I think it's the 3rd version as well) underneath:

Finally. To say the least, I'm indescribably happy to see an action-style movie about a topic I'm passionate about.

I definitely look forward to seeing this film. While it can be annoying at times for other productions, the high end action treatment is a breath of fresh air for the "Black History Film" genre. I agree with Geneva Girl. If I were a kid, this is the kind of movie I would be excited about, plus it gives them an opportunity to learn something as well.

If I were 16 I'd have that poster on my wall. Much better!
