There were rumors that an international trailer for the film had been released in parts of Europe this week; the US trailer debuts next week. But, if you can't wait that long, here's your very first look at a teaser trailer for maybe one of the most anticipated films of the year, David Fincher's adaptation of Swedish author and journalist Stieg Larsson's, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, the first in his "Millennium series." It'll be in theaters in December...

Yeah, I really wanted to hate the remake too. But between Daniel Craig and Stellan Skarsgard starring and now Trent Reznor and Karen O remaking Immigrant Song..... I give up the fight. I'll be there opening weekend. I just hope that new chick playing Lisbeth doesn't screw it up.

The books and the Swedish films are different amongst themselves; and the core murder story is fascinating... Fincher is far too meticulous to disappoint, and this film (at least) will hold its own.

Not too excited about the cast (outside of Craig and Rooney) -- too much star power to tip the hand of the mystery.

Great cover of Zep's "Immigrant Song"

I hate to be a purist a-hole, but the original films are so electrifying I can't imagine these American versions living up to them.

Okay, I have to admit...I really wanted to hate this story at first. I'm a big fan of the original but, after seeing this trailer, it may have won me over.
