RIP Charles Aaron "Bubba" Smith, the former NFL All-Pro player turned actor, whom most will likely remember as Moses Hightower in the Police Academy movie series, a role he has reprised in all but one of the Police Academy sequels (7 in total with one due next year).

He was found dead today, in his Los Angeles home, though the cause of death is still unknown.

He was just 66 years old.

Sad but glad he never played a punk in those flicks - just the strong silent type. Fave scene is when he gets at white guy for calling Hux a racial slur in the first PA movie.
