The highly anticipated return of the BAFTA Award-winning sci-fi dramedy, otherwise known as Misfits, is back for a 5th season, which is wrapping up its UK run, and is now set to debut in the USA, via Hulu, starting on October 21.

The ensemble cast of f young offenders sentenced to work in a community service program where they obtain supernatural powers after a strange electrical storm, includes Rudy (Joseph Gilgun), Abbey (Natasha O’Keeffe), Finn (Nathan McMullen), and Jess (Karla Crome).

In the fifth season, it’s the first anniversary of the storm and a support group forms on the estate for those people who find having a super power isn’t all hyped up to be.

Expect new characters with surprising powers, and a team of A-grade super-powered vigilantes.

All 8 new episodes of the show will launch on Hulu and Hulu Plus shortly after the U.K. airing.

Hulu, in partnership with BBC Worldwide Americas, launched Misfits exclusively in the U.S. in 2011, and will be the exclusive premiere American home to all five seasons of Misfits, where it's been very popular.

The tilte says 10/31, probably a typo in the details. Check Thurs.

Odd it is October 28th 2013 and still no new season on hulu. Maybe they meant Oct 21st in 2014?
