Pres of Sony/Screen Gems just announced a sequel to @ThinkLikeAMan on @IAmSteveHarvey!!!!!

Words tweeted by Will Packer (Rainforest Films) earlier this morning; let me translate for all of you non-Twitter using folks: the president of Sony subsidiary Screen Gems was apparently on Steve Harvey's radio show this morning, and announced that a sequel to the film adaptation of Harvey's best-seller, Think Like A Man (the film title) is coming.

I'm not a listener (I don't listen to much radio these days actually) so I didn't hear the conversation. So I'm going strictly on what Packer (a producer of Think Like A Man) said in his tweet.

The first film hasn't been released yet (it'll debut at the Pan African Film Festival next month, and then will open in the spring), so this is a rather bold move by the president isn't it?

Expectations must be high for this one; and I guess I can understand why... the book was a bestseller, so I suppose the hope is that brisk book sales will translate to box office power.

We'll see...

Watch the trailer again below if you haven't yet:

I've seen trailers here and elsewhere. It actually looks good. I'm a fan of the majority of the cast, not so much the book though. But I'll watch.
