About That Popular 'Black Films Don't Sell ...Short Film Showcase This Friday in Brooklyn
This Friday, June 24th, ActNow Foundation and Media MVMT present an outdoor screening of short films at Common Grounds coffee house in Brooklyn, New York.
The free screening takes place as part of Soul of Brooklyn Week, a week-long celebration highlighting the arts and cultures of Brooklyn’s African Diaspora. Brooklyn filmmakers featured in the program include Yvonne Shirley, Michael Woods, Daniel Patterson, Justin Staley, Keith Davis, Darius Clark Monroe, Michael Cordero, Julia Grob, Terence Nance, Nikyatu Jusu, and Blitz the Ambassador.
