That's right folks, read it and weep. Snoop Dogg has made a deal with veteran TV sit-com producer Don Reo (who has sit-coms such as My Wife and Kids and Two and a Half Men to his credits) and Warner Bros TV, to star as the father in a still untitled new sit-com.

No details yet on the premise or further details, such as the actual plot or premise for the show, but it will soon be taken to networks to see which one will bite first.

More details to come later...

*** Before the herd mentality tramples on Snoop Dogg’s head***

“I think it’s unfortunate when people choose to focus on a small portion of a group to make overly broad statements about the group as a whole”

    Say it!

“Every movie ain’t for every black person. Sometimes we forget we are not a monolithic group. We choose a movie just like anyone else..based on actors, storyline, demographics ect. So to me it is not a question of black people supporting is the question of blk people who are interested in THIS story supporting it ~ By befree1619 on September 14, 2011

Say it loud, be black... and be proud!

“I could live without the lumping of all christians into one judgmental bundle. We love our controversy just look at The Help ~By Jeff O on September 13, 2011

Look out now, we’re going somewhere!

“I’m with Jeff O: no need to lump all of us Christians [or personalities] together” ~ By blaqbird on September 13, 2011

Now I’m home. Some may not like Snoop because of his personal image, but if we can champion movies like Shame ( a movie starring a white “Sex Addict, better known as a pervert or sex freak or whorish man) and The Help, we damn sure can support a black actor (brotha) working his craft. In this - Snoop’s new endeavor - is it about Snoop, art, or the messages within the sit-com?

I say, “go ahead Snoop with yo bad self”. Do your thang my brotha. Some are going to like it and some will not, we ARE NOT a monolithic group. Some are going to hate on Snoop Dogg before the product hits the floor, and that's their problem.
