Ivorian thespian Souleymane Sy Savane of Goodbye Solo fame (and the upcoming Machine Gun Preacher)will co-star in the indie drama Keep The Lights On for writer/director Ira Sachs.

The film, which began principal photography on July 28th, tells a story that spans a decade, and centers on the relationship that develops between a documentary filmmaker (played by Thure Lindhardt) and a closeted lawyer (Zachary Booth), each burdened with their own individual compulsions and addictions.

The filmmaker says that the film will take an honest look at the nature of relationships in our times.
