'Sparkle' Website Updates w/ Whitney Houston Tribute, Video, Pics (See Several Of Them)

We're just about 2 months away from the theatrical release of Sparkle (August 17); looking at what black films we can expect from Hollywood studios specifically, this has to be one of 2012's highlights; not that there are many to choose from anyway.

The marketing campaign has been in full swing already - trailer, pics, soundtrack (which will be released on July 31 from RCA Records, and feature 13 songs, including tracks featuring the vocal talents of stars Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston, as well as Cee Lo Green, who also has a role in the movie, Tika Sumpter and Carmen Ejogo, who co-star as well).

And you can find a lot of those marketing items on the film's newly-update official website, which also includes a tribute to Whitney Houston that asks fans to upload images of themselves to be used in creating a Whitney mosaic. You have through June 30 to do so.
