One of the most debated about films of the year, especially ad-nauseam on this site, Steve McQueen's sophomore film Shame, finally comes to Blu Ray on April 17th. The disc special features will include: Focus on Michael Fassbender, Director Steve McQueen, The Story of Shame, A Shared Vision, Fox Movie Channel Presents: In Character With Michael Fassbender and Theatrical Trailer.

The film is still screening in limited theaters. Needless to say, the controversy over its nudity and sex scenes is really tired; it's a film you should thoroughly appreciate for its uncomprising depiction of affliction and its riveting performances. If you haven't, read Tambay's review of the film a few months back when it screened at the New York Film Festival HERE. You are encouraged to experience Shame for yourself, and if you're a fan of Nicole Beharie like this writer, then you really should be looking forward to April 17th if you aren't planning to catch it on the big screen.
