On the heels of my post announcing that the Broadway revival of Porgy & Bess is being extended an additional 2 1/2 months past its originally scheduled closing date, thanks to overwhelming demand and popularity... the other black show currently on Broadway has announced the end of its run.

Produced by Alicia Keys, Lydia R. Diamond's Stick Fly, which is directed by Kenny Leon, and stars Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Dulé HillMekhi PhiferTracie Thoms, and Condola Rashad, will have its final performance on February 26, just over 2 weeks from now.

So, if you you haven't seen it, and you're interested, you better do so as soon as possible before it leaves.

As a quick recap... Stick Fly, officially opened December 8, chronicles the interactions and revelations within a well-to-do black family at its home in Martha’s Vineyard.

Everyone I know who's seen it gives it a thumbs up!
