One of the films that was on my Sundance 2012 to-see list was Sheldon Candis' feature film debut, LUV, which stars CommonMichael Rainey Jr, Dennis Haysbert, Danny Glover, Charles S. Dutton and other; however, as you've probably noticed, I didn't review it... yet.

That's because I didn't get to see it. To make a long story short, there was some scheduling conflict, and I just wasn't able to get a look at the film.

So hopefully I can rectify that either via a screener, or I'll just have to wait until the film comes to New York at which time I'll be able to see it.

Until then... this will have to hold you over - a short travelogue featuring Sheldon Candis' family, showing highlights of their time leading up to the festival, at the festival (the screening of LUV specifically) and afterward:

Content wise, what do you think it would be rated? I am going to it with a group of friends tonight but don't want to take people that would be offended by it.

I was waiting for the review to see what you thought! I got to see it at Sundance. I wanted to like it... but didn't. Most of it was very contrived and impausible.
