Looking over the Sundance 2012 Short Film Program announced earlier today, I came across this one...

A short film Sergio posted back in June titled Robots From Brixton, directed by Black Brit animator Kibwe Tavares.

It can now add "official Sundance 2012 selection" to its list of accolades.

A quick recap... the film centers on the "trials and tribulations of young robots surviving at the sharp end of inner city life, living the predictable existence of a populous hemmed in by poverty, disillusionment and mass unemployment."

I'm surprised the short film is still online, although I believe Sundance is far less strict about its shorts submission policy than it is about its features. But, if you didn't see it when it was posted 6 months ago, watch it now... before it disappears (if it does). I'll be back with more highlights... provided there are any:

I remember you all posting about this earlier this year. I still have seen nothing quite like it since this year.
