Helmed by Chris Eska, nominated for two Independent Spirit Awards (and winner of the Cassavetes Award) for his feature film August Evening, The Retrieval stars newcomers (mostly) Ashton Sanders, Tishuan Scott, Keston John, Bill Oberst, Jr., Christine Horn, and others. Jason Wehling and Jacob Esquivel produce.
All we have for a synopsis is: "On the outskirts of the Civil War, a boy is sent north by a bounty hunter gang to retrieve a wanted man."
A very intriguing premise and interesting first poster, see the latter below; certainly eager to find out much more. We will definitely follow this film closely. A trailer and/or more stills should surface sooner than later.

Enough with these propaganda films. We know some people liked it better when us "cullurreds" had to run to be free and hide from "Mister Charlie". This is just propaganda to go along with all of the talk of these government officials slipping up in their speeches talking about slavery like our ancestors loved embraced it.
