Sydney Tamiia Poitier Is Heading To 'Chicago Fire' Spinoff Series, 'Chicago PD'

Sydney T. Poitier has booked a 5-episode arc on NBC’s upcoming Chicago Fire spinoff series Chicago PD. The deal comes with an option for her to become a regular. 

Poitier will play a new detective, in a role that which will cross over on Chicago Fire

She will next be seen in a 3D reboot of Night Of The Living Dead, alongside Tony Todd, and will play Paul Robeson’s wife, Eslanda ("Essie") Goode Robeson, opposite British actor David Harewood, in a Paul Robeson biopic.

    Anything to keep her out of my favorite shows and quality films. After this gets cancelled, hopefully she books the 7th lead on a CBS procedural that runs for eternity in complete obscurity.
