I won't arrive in Los Angeles for the festival until the 16th of this month, but thankfully the "genius bastard" himself, Mr Brandon Wilson (find him on Twitter HERE) who lives in Los Angeles, and who has covered events for S&A in LA in the past (you should have read all excellent his reviews of films at the UCLA LA Rebellion retrospective last fall) will be representing Shadow And Act in a panel discussion titled Diverisity In Film Criticism at the Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles exactly one week from today, February 13th, from 5:30pm to 7pm.

The film has already been released on DVD, but if you're in London and want to see The Black Power Mixtape: 1967 - 1975 on the big screen, you still can. And as an added bonus, you'll also get to be present for a Q&A session with activist and writer Darcus Howe, who garnered international attention during the summer riots of 2011 after clashing with a BBC news presenter.
