Filmmaker Keith Davis Blogs About His Sundance Director's Lab Experience

Earlier in the week, I posted an entry in which Kasi Lemmons, who attended this year’s Sundance Director’s Lab as an advisor, blogged about her experience (read that HERE if you missed it); today, I give you actor/writer/editor/director Keith Davis (one of S&A's 2011 Black Filmmakers To Watch), who also attended this year's Sundance Director’s Lab, but as a fellow, developing his feature film screenplay The American People, who also blogged about his experiences, via the Sundance website blog.

In case you're just joining us, here's a recap: It's called the S&A Filmmaker Diary Series. Essentially, filmmakers who are about to embark on projects (in this case, feature film projects specifically) will be given space on this site to document their journey, from script to screen, diary/journal style.

In case you're just joining us, here's a recap: I'm calling it our Filmmaker Diary Series. Essentially, filmmakers who are about to embark on projects (in this case, feature film projects specifically) will be given space on this site to document their journey, from script to screen, diary/journal style. That's about it, in brief. But I think you get the overall picture.

As the site grows, I'm always looking for ways to both entertain and inform our readers - a diverse group of people, whether they are in the industry (or working towards that goal), or they are film enthusiasts, or just curious folks, and everything else between.
