Every now and then, I come across projects that send me on a fervent Google search for info and that was the case with filmmaker Christopher Everett's Wilmington On Fire, a documentary in development detailing a little-known, bloody massacre that took place in North Carolina in 1898.

Fundraising via Rucket Hub, the documentary House Music Movie is directed by Muema; who is the Founder of BounceFM.Com, a blog that supports house music. The feature length independent documentary film about house music, dance and global pop culture with a funding goal of $115,000, has been in the works for the last two years. Muema hopes the campaign funds will cover archival footage and final editing/post-production costs in time for a 2012 festival premiere.
