Some new info on this documentary film I profiled back in April, directed by Kevin J. Williams, and titled Fear of A Black Republican. The film asks why there aren't many Black Republicans, and how that fact influences/affects the current 2-party political system in the USA.

Any of you attending the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans next month? If you are, and you purchased a VIP pass, on July 1st there will be a preview screening of From The Rough, the Taraji P. Henson sports drama. She will be there, by the way, along with co-star LeToya Lucket. So, we should get some firsthand reactions to the film soon after that. More on the festival and tickets HERE.

More Monday fun :) Trailer for a Ghanaian horror flick that promises "thrills" and be "suspense-packed," titled Grave Yard. In it, a group of college kids performing research in a forest, face strange occurrences; the forest happens to be an "evil forest," as each now has to fight to survive.
