As previously revealed in an interview with Tiny Fey, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was to make a cameo appearance on NBC's hit comedy show 30 Rock; and that cameo appearance happened last night! If you didn't catch it, here's her 1 1/2 minute bit; how did she do?

The CEO for Discovery Communications, David Zaslav, admitted this morning that the ratings for the Oprah Winfrey Network have been, to date, "below our expectations" and that Discovery will be forced to send more money than the initial $215 million it has already invested in OWN.

All you Ving Rhames fans have something good coming your way. He's set to play the lead character in a comedy pilot for Comedy Central network titled Black Jack. The project will be executive produced by David Gordon Green, director of Pineapple Express and George Washington among others.

Wasn't long ago when we alerted you to the news of Paris Barclay directing Greg Grunberg and Nicole Ari Parker in the A&E pilot Big Mike about an an underestimated "plus-size" detective with the San Diego Police Department. Well, Barclay has added another project to his resume. According to Deadline, he just joined the Fox show Sons of Anarchy as an executive producer and principal director.

Despite not living up to box-office expectations this weekend, Tyler Perry keeps on truckin'! On his recent appearance to promote Madea's Big Happy Family on the Conan show with Conan O'brien, he announced his latest tv project in the works titled For Better or Worse. It's based on his blockbuster film Why Did I Get Married? and is currently shooting now.
