This is cool. I know Tambay is covering the festival for S&A, so he should ge attending this and we'll get early enough reactions to the film. I believe this will be the first public screening of the film which opens May 4, about a week later.

Acquired by Tribeca Film as announced on S&A last week, Booker's Place: A Mississippi Story - described as a intensely personal film about children struggling to understand their parents is also a heartbreaking portrait of the legacy of intolerance - will premiere at the upcoming Tribeca Film Festival next month in the Spotlight section.

And the film festival beat goes on... one after the other... I gets no breaks; heading to SXSW this Friday, then once I get back, rolling right into New Directors/New Films, and soon after that, this one, the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival.
