TV One has announced that it will premiere the new season of its acclaimed popular music biography series Unsung on Wednesday, October 30 at 8PM/ET, with a profile of hip-hop group Heavy D & the Boyz. Well, tonight's the night, after countless teasers and posters released over the last month. And if you missed any of them, or just want something to get you excited for tonight's return of American Horror Story: Coven on FX, I've embedded most of them at the bottom of this post.Angela Bassett plays Marie Laveau, a practioner of Voodoo who lived in the 1800s, who was called "the Voodoo queen of New Orleans," and is indeed credited with being a unifying force in helping Voodoo penetrate New Orleans culture. We'll have to wait to find out just how involved Bassett's Laveau character will be in Coven's main plot, when the new season premieres tonight, October 9 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX.

Hah! When I received notification of this a year ago, without even reading the contents and watching the promo, I laughed. Why? Well, if you're familiar with NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations - a broad term that is often used to describe usually non-profit organizations that are in business - whether operational or advocacy - often to further the political or social goals of their members), you'll be familiar with the many criticisms leveled against them, despite their best intentions.

Had enough of all the American Horror Story: Coven teasers yet?Too bad! Here's one more, although, unlike all the previous promos, this one actually features Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, a practioner of Voodoo who lived in the 1800s, who was called "the Voodoo queen of New Orleans," and is indeed credited with being a unifying force in helping Voodoo penetrate New Orleans culture. We'll have to wait to find out just how involved Bassett's Laveau character will be in Coven's main plot, when the new season arrives on October 9 at 10 PM ET/PT on FX - a week away.
